Above: I had a field trip with my 2nd graders to the Omaha Children's Museum! I was posing with my awesome para, Kristin, and my student teacher, Megan!
Below: My friend, Jill who is fighting cancer... and is currently going through rounds of radiation and chemo had us over for a wine glass painting party Friday night! I love to see my friends smile and giggle! So many prayers and hugs goes out to her! She is such a strong and brave woman!
I made my family 4 dessert glasses with their names on them!
Mi-Ma couldn't wait to give the twins their TMNT sweatshirts... you can only imagine the shenanigans!
Then... Saturday morning, everyone got the word... my friend's dear sweet Henry passed away at 7 months. It's one of the most heart wrenching stories. I can't even imagine and just feel super awful for her, and her husband... and family. Henry was just diagnosed with Luekemia not 2 weeks ago... Sooooo sooooo many prayers goes out to another amazing and strong woman I know! At Church Father mentioned to put sad moments that you can't explain in the palm of God's hands... and as we brought up the gifts... all I could think of was Jill and Erin and what they have endured and is going through. I think I mentioned this before, but Erin's mom passed this year and her other sweet baby boy was still born. How do you even go on from there? Seriously... prayers, prayers, and more prayers! William asked if Henry would come back on Easter with Jesus?
After Church and bedtime routine with the twins, we did try to catch a few smiles and laughs for Gina and Angie's birthday! Because Mi-Ma was able to babysit, we were able to go out with a great group of people!
Always so thankful for each moment with everyone... but after this week, I felt myself thanking God extra!!!!
