Halloween 2019!

Halloween! William was going to be Fortnite... but he broke his elbow... so skeleton for Bill... and scuba diver riding on a octopus for Mallory! What a memorable night with 2 groups of wonderful friends.  Mallory went with her girls... William went with the boys. We started off all together in a big group... and this was the first year we split! Darn it... kids getting older is amazing and hard, too!

Zoo Adventure Lock Out!

The funniest zoo adventure to date!
No joke... bats were chasing us and crazy chicken birds... so we exited the jungle... just to get locked out. And then to a stairwell that we couldn't see where to get out  Finally, we were out, but, on the outside of the zoo behind big gates and no way out. So.... we had to call zoo emergency. We knew the guy... and he had to come by zoo golf cart to get us back onto the zoo path where visitors are suppose to go.  Honest to goodness... Mike and were laughing... kids a tad scared... but laughed about it later.  Oh, funny... funny... funny!

Broken Elbow for William! What a Week!

The week went like this...
Monday-student threw up and after I cleaned him and his desk... I had to conduct class in the hallway.
Tuesday-William's alopecia is much worse.  He has a new spot on the back of his head. So many prayers for our little guy. Then buddies came over and bam... elbow into a fence... urgent care... they said it was sprained, but, later called back... we were to report to Children's on Wednesday. In the meantime... sling. Oh my heart hurts when I can't help my children.

Wednesday-A coworker had an allergic reaction... my epipen administered by me and another coworker. She then went to ER... she was taken care of... so scary... so worried.

Thursday-While waiting to hear if William was getting a cast and the dermatologist was calling back, Dr. Ridder came to observe... went great... but new later... William would need a cast.

Friday-Couldn't move... and had to head to our family friend's rosary.

I know God has this, but, this week, I was crumbling.  Crying each day with worry and feeling so sad for so many. I was losing it... thank goodness for weekends.... and new days!
