Welcome Tommy and Colin!

Above is the picture I used from last winter's visit to make Tommy's new Welcome Home banner!  It's been almost 4 years that Tommy's been in the Peace Corps.  He has been in Benin, Africa, and traveled and been on many journeys. Tommy even climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro.  It took him 7 days... I couldn't even handle Girl Scout camp for a week... he is our very own hero! Tommy Bob has seen and witnessed so much.  We admire him sooo... we can't wait to hear more about his African home.

Now below, Tommy is holding his latest nephew, Katie's baby, Colin!  Mallory, William, and I were so happy and tickled from head to toe to see "Big Tommy" and meet "Baby Collin"!  (Poor Mikey was working...)  Tommy, John, Kelly, and Katie will always be the siblings I never had...
We LOVE LOVE LOVE our Connelly family!
God Bless us one and all... We are so thankful for everyone and their safe travels back to Omaha!

Kindermusik Class!

This past Tuesday marked our last Kindermusik class of the semester with Miss Kerry and many wonderful friends!  We've had a terrific time learning, playing, singing, and dancing!  We love to watch Mallory and William's smiles and laughter during this time each week!  Now on to our summer class in a few weeks with Kelly and Thomas... this class will be called - Zoo Train!  We can't wait!!!!!

Farm Visit!

We had a beautiful day at the farm this fine Sunday! The skies had just cleared from terrible storms the day and night before. On the drive we saw many trees and trash all around.  Because of all of the rain... it was extra muddy and yucky, so we didn't do a lot of walking around or we might have been knee deep in mud/cow poo...  Hee-Hee!  Our Mallory and William sure LOVE the farm!

We had a post Easter dinner with Aunt Fran and Uncle Morris and 4 out of their five kids.  It was really yummy and fun!  My family are great cooks and bakers.  What happened to me then?  LOL!  I am getting better... I keep trying at least. Right?!

William had to bring his plastic cows and horses to show the baby calves...  He kept saying... "See cows!  See cows!  I have cows too!"  We just adore our little red headed boy!

Mallory loves to be with her Daddy!  Mallory is such a snuggler and sweetie!

Easter 2012!

We had a terrific, "egg"stra, "egg"stra special Easter day!  Here in the first picture above, Mallory and William hunted for a few Eatser eggs from the Easter Bunny and then they saw what they got in their Easter baskets.  After a few mouthfuls of candy, we got dressed and headed off to Church with Mi-Ma! Look at my beautiful family... I need to figure how to do the timer on my camera so we can get Mi-Ma in the family pictures too...

After Church, Granmda Carol and cousin Matt came over for some yummy breakfast food... we then did another mini Easter egg hunt! I think Mallory and William could have looked for eggs all day!

After nap, we headed to the Lawler's for some more Easter egg hunting!  Now, this is what we call pure childhood bliss!
I'm pretty sure the guys are talking sports... hee-hee!
Godmommy Kelly is always in the spirit!
Gma Sue likes to snap a lot of pictures just like me...

Thanks to the Lawler's and to Grandma Sue, Tony, Mi-Ma,and John for everything on this blessed Easter!  The Loftus family had a bunny spectacular blast of a day!

Easter Egg Decorating!

We had an "egg"cellent time decorating Easter eggs!  It was a an "egg"stra fun time because William and Mallory are at a very independent stage (the 3 year old - "I do it" stage!) and they really get what we are doing and why!
Boy, how we love seeing our Mallory and William's faces when we do fun projects!

Spring Break Fun 2012!!

After Monday at the park and visiting the Easter Bunny...  We headed to the Children's Museum on Tuesday with the Lawler's! It was a blast!!! I truly love the memories we make with our twins!

Then we went to Creation Station with Kammie, Meika, and Bella.  Meika painted a monkey and Bella a kitty.  William painted his turtle a couple shades of blue and Mallory created a purpley penguin!

Here is William and Mallory practicing their "winking"!

On Wednesday, we had Andrew, Thomas, Kelly, Logan, and Angie over to find egg rocks in our backyard and paint them.  We then made Easter Bunny baskets to put our eggs into... it was super messy and fun, fun, fun!

Thursday was set aside for doctor and haircuts, and shopping.  Do you like Mallory and William's new shades?
Friday couldn't have worked out more perfect!  Yes, you guessed it, we had to return to the zoo with the Hochstein family! (The week wouldn't be complete without a trip to the zoo!) The aquarium has been closed for some time for remodeling, and yesterday was the opening day.  Since we are members, we were able to go right at 8 am with no lines and hassle!  We had a terrific time at the zoo!!!! These pictures really do tell our zoo story!  It was a GREAT morning!
