20th Reunion Time!

Yes... 20 years flashed before my eyes! I can hardly believe that I just attended my 20th Reunion!  I was a Gross High Cougar with a motto that made me want to attend this school - "Dux Estos"... plus there was boys at this school.  LOL! It was super great to see and catch up with so many!!!  I was especially tickled to bring my amazing and hot husband with me to introduce to so many!!! I just LOVE Mikey to pieces!  Running into ex boyfriends was such a great reminder as to how lucky I am to have married my best friend... and to be able to show off pictures of our two beautiful and healthy children, put a constant smile on my face! I am one PROUD Momma!  I also have a job I love... Life is just blessings all around!  And... MANY THANKS to Mi-Ma for babysitting our Mallory and William! We are lucky, lucky, lucky!!!

We Love You, Kristin!

 So our dear dear dear friend and co-worker leaves this Thursday for Honduras.  She is going to be gone for about a year to teach 2nd grade to students who will be so lucky to have her as their teacher!  She is one terrific individual... and we all wish her the best!  I know we all will miss her very much, but she's one person who know how to make a difference!  We are so proud of you, Kristin!

So we thought... what a great excuse for having a party!  We had so much fun this past Friday night with our teacher friends, and Kristin's family! We had several wonderful chats and laughs!

P.S.  Mallory and William have been making Kristin so many drawings... our kids love Kristin too... they can't wait to Skype or Face Time with Kristin... I can't wait either!

All About the Animals!

 So this last week, with the days being around 100 degrees, we did a few days of indoor swimming at the JCC... and then we couldn't go any longer ---We had to visit The Henry Doorly Zoo!!! We just did a few indoor exhibits. It was super fun... as usual! 

Then on Friday, July 27th, we ventured out with the Hochstein's to the Wildlife Safari Drive-Thru Zoo!  It was 5 kids under 4 in the same car... and it went so incredibly well.  It was a super day of seeing the big and small animals!  We did have to convince Mallory that the Elk and Bison don't like cars or people.  ;) I don't blame her...

Family Summer Fun!

Is it really July 24th?  The summer is zooming by... and golly oh gee... we are LOVING our family summer fun together! (Did I mention today is the day Mike proposed to me... what an incredible and memorable day!!!!) So...  These past few days have been filled with Church, Aunt La La's family gathering, Baby Brilyn's baptism (see last picture in this post), back to school "stuff", Mallory's flower girl dress fitting, and so much more! I should of went camera crazy at Aunt Cilla's, but we just had too much fun visiting!  Please oh please... we don't want summer to end. I go back to school on August 9th.  I of course love teaching, but I'm going to miss the twins so so so so very much!!!

Friends, Food, & A Farm = Fun!

This week-end consisted of fabulous friends... fantastic food... and a farm!  It really was a week-end that was fun, fun, fun!

Can you believe that we got all 7 adorable kids under the age of 4 on our couch?!  I love it!!! Thanks to Jen, Kammie, and Krisitn for such great memories... our kids do play so well together! Plus it's fun to have "adult" time! You all are just the kindest friends!

 And... thanks to the Lawler's for a spectacular time with the Stavneak's!.  I love my grade school friends... and their cute kids! Awesome times!!!

 

Can you believe Dan and Aaron have a farm that is about 20 minutes from us that consists of goats, chickens, and horses... even a few dogs?  Thanks for the hospitality guys!!!

Last Day of Sports Camp!

 Today was the last day of Sports Camp... and our twins didn't want the hour to end... I didn't either... their cute faces are just priceless when it comes to something they enjoy so much!

 Today Coach introduced the toddlers to tennis and the big bouncy ball!  The kiddos also did a few relays, soccer, and basketball too.  William really had the tennis thing down... Mallory was really getting the hang of the racket too!  It was so much fun watching them try new things... Daddy even got to watch William and Mallory for about 15 minutes... Mal Mal and Big Willy loved showing their "skills" off to Daddy!

Zoo Day with Tanner!

It was finally a not so hot morning... so off the zoo we went with Tanner!  Tanner is Miss Lori's son... he is such a super helper and friend!  We had a terrific, terrific, terrific day!
