Another Weekend Of Wonderfulness!

This weekend couldn't be any more gorgeous outside!  We played lots and lots outside... but we also did a few fun extra things as well.  Like, we saw Dolphin Tale 2 Friday night.  It was super cute... and yes, I cried about 4 times. The twins loved it! I totally loved it... great message... with great actors!

I think Mike pitched William and Mallory 20 buckets of balls each day! (I don't do "it" right. LOL!) Mike is such a super Daddy!  We are still finishing the landscaping on the side of the garage... it looks nice until the flowers die.  Which is actually okay, because we have digging tools and shovels and cars there in the dirt.  William and Mallory love the dirt area. It makes for a great place to explore and get messy!

Mallory and William's costume came in the mail... they couldn't wait to try it on... they were beaming from ear to ear alllll weekend! I bet you can guess what Mike and I are being?!

I got to sneak in an early breakfast with my most marvelous mentor, Micki! After having breakfast with her... all seems right in the world!  She continues to inspire and amaze me!  I keep on learning from her... and couldn't be more grateful for the friendship we have!

After dance, more play time, and Church... Mi-Ma babysat the sleeping twinners! THANK YOU, Mi-Ma!!!!  So... we got to go to Dan's house for the Husker Party! It was a terrific time with fun friends!

It was also Bryan's 40th birthday! Dan and Bryan come to our house every week around 8 on Thursdays to watch a taped Survivor.  We each take turns bringing dinner.  We've been doing this for almost 15 years.  Since, Mike and I have the kiddos... we now have it only at our house.  We use to rotate houses, too!  Bryan and Dan are awesome peeps!

Our Sunday wrapped up with our weekly soccer game! Mallory and William each scored many goals...and helped to pass the ball more!  They really rocked it out this week! These are the only pics I got, since Mike and I help coach!  Gosh, we just love them to bits! It's cute to see them with their new kinder friends and Kyler as well!

Bring on the week!
(And... I can't forget... the Royals are going to the playoffs, wildcard style! GO ROYALS!!!!!!!)

Soccer and Babysitting Joe Day!

We had a beautiful Sunday!!!! We played our 2nd soccer game with our friends from Holy Cross and our buddy, Kyler!  Mike, Dan, Cole, and I are having a hoot of a time coaching all the Preschool/Kinder cuties! Today we only had about 30 instead of 40... so pretty manageable compared to last week.  (Thanks to Jill for snapping a few pictures and shared them with me! The Wilson family is so nice!)

We got to babysit my Godson, Joey... and the twins couldn't be more excited about helping me take care of him!  We seriously had a blast with Joe Joe... he didn't cry once and we just get enough of his giggles!  LOVE these 3 adorable kiddos so much!

Dance, Birthday Party, Church, and Husker Party Day!

It looks like I should have more pictures from this day considering how busy we were... but the time just zoomed by.  I guess it's how the saying goes... time flies when you are having fun!  We had such a nice time at dance in the morning with Miss Lisa.  William and I also have a weekly ritual together.. we go to the local coffee place and get a scone and I coffee with Jay and Melissa while Mallory and Alexa dance.  It's soooo fun!  Then we went to Alexander's birthday party.  He had a bounce house in the backyard... sooooo awesome!  I hope I get a few cute pictures from our friend... she got some great ones with the kids by the cake!

After the birthday party, we hit St. C Church... then my fam went home to watch the Huskers... I picked up a friend and co-worker, Shannon and we headed to our principal's house. He had a super nice Husker party with lots of wonderful people I work with!  Here I am making a s'more by the fire-pit.  It was delicious... Nikki taught me to put a Reese's Buttercup in the middle of my graham crakers and marshmallow... can we say... Yummy!  What a terrific night with great friends/co-workers!  Mike had my cousins over... the twins fell asleep after Church in 2 minutes Mike said!

Mike's 25th High School Reunion!

I can't believe my hubby had his 25th High School Reunion from St. Joe's.  What a FUN night!  I love hearing old stories from when Mikey was "younger".

Vala's Pumpkin Patch Time 2014!

Okay... Vala's is one of the coolest places!  You can see by the many many pics what an INCREDIBLE day we had together at the pumpkin patch! It's probably one of our top 5 favorite places! Bring on the fall fun!!!!!

We met up with Nicole, Lisa, Reed, and Brilyn, too!  LOVE our friends and making these kind of cool memories with our kids!

The BIG slide rocks!!!!!!!

My friends just mean the world to the Loftus family... LOVE YOU, Nicole, Lisa, Brilyn, and Reed! Thanks for spending some time with us at the pumpkin patch!!!!

The apple sling-shot is totally hilarious! We were really hitting some targets!

Mike said he found tons of corn in our washing machine... he he he!

We also ate lunch and enjoyed a cookie together! This year, we made it 6 hours at the patch! Woot! Woot!

We did the train ride for the first time... we also got a sucker stick!  Why not?! Right?!

We think the pig races are one of the coolest and funniest things to watch!

William was picked to cheer on the "yellow" pig!

We did the corn bath twice and the bouncing pillows... it's the twins' favorite!

Then there is this... doesn't everyone sleep with a pig nose on their forehead.  The silly thing... that's what they both did! Twins... it's magical I tell you... magical!

I'll never.. for as long as I live forget William and Mallory's smiles and laughs from this day! I truly cherish and LOVE these moments!
