Easter Day 2013!

It was a blessed and most glorious Easter Day! Here we are getting ready for Church!  Mallory and William did so great at Church... you can tell they are getting bigger.  (Sniff. Sniff.)  I also have to pinch myself that this is Mallory and William's 5th Easter... Wow!

Oh... my beautiful family!
Mi-Ma came with us to Church too... then she spent the day with us.  We had Gma Carol and Matt over for french toast casserole after Church! It was yummy and fun! And thanks to Mi-Ma for making the ham and the fixings for dinner... Mike and I LOVE Mi-Ma's cooking!

The Easter Bunny left Mallory and William books, a kite, stamps and lots of other goodies!

Then after nap... it was part 2 to our Easter Egg Hunt! Mallory and William LOVE to look for eggs.  They were so nice taking turns finding the eggs... and when William's basket looked fuller... he helped Mallory and vice versa.  They are so sweet and wonderful!

Here was part 1 of our Easter Egg Hunt from the morning... sorry this picture below is out of order.  Mallory and William found their golden eggs! You would have thought it was a million dollars!  It had coins and candy!  Jackpot! They were so cute looking for their eggs!

We can't wait to go fly our kites!

Happy Easter 2013! Here are a few videos from the day!

A Beautiful Spring Day!

It was a beautiful spring day...we played outside lots and lots!  I love to see my family laugh and smile and play together!

We ended the evening with going to Kohl's to buy the twins new tennis shoes. We got new light up ones! Then we all went on a date to Petrow's restaurant!  Mallory said to William:  You are my best friend... then they smooched! Talk about adorable!!!!

Zoo Day!

Today we ventured to the Zoo with our buddy, Tanner! Daddy got to go too... and later... we bumped into Angie and Logan! We had a greattttt time! It was a nice reward since Mallory and William had their 4 year check up at 7 am and they did so well.  They even had to do lead pokes.  William didn't cry until it was all done.  Poor guy.  So William weighs 32 and Mallory 37.  I think if we read it right... Mallory is 4 inches taller than William too! We just love our doctor!  I cry every time I seem... it brings me back to our twins being babies... okay.. back to our day at the zoo!

The kids are big fan of the Puffins and how fast they swim! The expressions on the kiddos faces are always priceless!

We spotted lots of sharks, many sting rays... and 3 sea turtles!  We love the glass tunnel!

This tiger was dancing for us!

Tanner was driving the 3 amigos in the jeep!

Omaha's Children Museum Day!

Today we hopped on over to the Omaha Children's Museum with cousin, Matt!  We had such a super time!!!! Thanks Matt for making fun memories with us!

 Bread anyone???

Mallory's shirt was really soaked from playing in the water... it was pretty cool how fast it dried from all the running around!

Mallory and William said their favorite part was the carousel... Matt and I decided we wanted to be 4 again!  LOL!

Loving Spring Break!

The picture is Mallory and William wearing their bunny hats that they made at Fontenelle Forest... I love that William is wearing his swimsuit... he would wear his swimsuit to Church if we let him! You see... our letter  for the day at our house is... B! Bunny hats are perfect for the letter 'B'. We practice writing B's... finding things that start with B'...  Everything 'B'! Mallory and William are getting really good at writing their name too!

Our blue letter bucket is stocked full of 'B' things!

Then we used Fruit Loops to practice our names and some favorite shapes.  We tried to find as many b..b...blue Fruit Loops as we could!

Our 7th Wedding Anniversary!

This day would not be complete without putting a few of my favorite pictures of our wedding!  I can't believe today is our 7th wedding anniversary!  Time is a flyin'!  I really did marry my best friend who provided me with the most beautiful and wonderful children a girl could ask for! (I can't believe I'm just now putting a few wedding pics on the blog... better late than never!) If I could do 6 days over again... 1 - Would be our wedding day! 2 - Our honeymoon to Jamaica!  3 - The day I found our I was pregnant! 4 - The day I found out I was pregnant with twins!!  5 - The birth of our twins! 6 - Mallory and William's baptism day!  The luck continues!  Thank you, God for these blessings! Now to get ready for my date to Cinedine!

Fontenelle Forest with Friends!

This morning... on our first day of Spring Break.... we headed to Fontenelle Forest for the "Mud Pies" program with our friends, Bella, Meika, Ava, and Brilyn! (It was a girl's morning out! Which is nice, because it's usually all boys... it was cute for William to be the only boy!)

Today's theme was all about bunnies! We got to pet a real bunny... although Mallory and William liked looking at the bunny with just their eyes.  LOL!

There is a lot to explore at Fontenelle Forest... since this was William and Mallory's first time... they didn't know where to start... it was adorable to see their faces! Bella's look in this picture is just adorable!

Our first art project was making a bunny's nest which is called a form! We used a small paper plate with ripped up green paper and lots of glue... of course... and a little plastic bunny.

We also did Play-Doh and made bird and bunny tracks!

The twins really liked the binoculars and looking for birds and squirrels.  We didn't spot any deer... maybe next time!

My friends, Nicole and Kammie are such great mommies!  It's fun to see us all try and wrangle and play with all of the kids! Moms really do have 8 arms... Tee-Hee!

Mallory told me she was painting a "house" and William told me he was painting, "kids".  Well done, Mallory and William!

We then made bunny hats!  Nicole and Brilyn helped Mallory and I helped William... they were really cute!

We even got to have bunny crackers for snack! Look at cutie, Brilyn...

and cutie, Ava!

Meika liked to fill up the jars with corn and sunflowers just like her buddies, Mallory and William...

This picture is not only sweet of Kammie playing with Ava... but the random girl on the right... I caught her picking her nose!  Good times all around!!!!!!!!

P.S.  When I asked William and Mallory on the way out... What is your favorite part?  William responded... the elevator.  Mallory responded... the real bunny. I really did laugh out loud!  William then later responded that he liked the real bunny and binoculars best!  Our twins continue to crack us up!
