The Day After Christmas!

Uncle Jim is a BIG Oklahoma Sooners fan! One of the many gifts Uncle Jim and Aunt Jen gave us was Oklahoma booties and sippy cups. As you can tell by the pictures, Mike and I want to make it known that we are clearly Husker fans... Ha! Ha! Ha! As for Uncle Tom, he is not in the doghouse, he made Mike a Husker clock! He even crafted most of the clock himself! Way to go, Uncle Tom!

One of the gifts I gave to Mike was a diaper bag backpack filled with goggles, a mask, tongs, an apron, gloves and a Mr. Mom video! Mike loves saying the quote from Mr. Mom - "Where does mommy keep the extra diapers?"

Grandma Margaret is already spoiling the babies and us... here is just a few gifts Grandma Margaret got us! I especially adore the "I Love Grandma" sleepers!

Mikey spoiled me too! He bought me 2 boppy's, 2 slipcovers, a Diaper Genie and much more! I already feel like we received our gifts 6 months ago... being pregnant! =)

We also received the cutest ornaments from our family! Check out the 2 Peas in a Pod ornament from Uncle Jim, Aunt Jen and family. I also got My Sister, My Friend ornament from Jen. We also received a Mike and Renee 2008 reindeer ornament from Uncle Tom, Aunt Kate, and family. Not shown on the tree is a few homemade ornaments from the nieces and nephews and a Husker ornament! We are so lucky to have such thoughtful family members!

Getting Ready for Christmas...

My mom is a wonderful woman! She helped out so much on Christmas Eve and day. I'm so lucky to have her as my mom!

And as you can see by Mike's hair, he was running around getting ready for company too! Mike is a honey as well. I just adore him! Both Mike and my mom helped out so much considering I'm a little slow and on the fatty side! ;) Thank you very much, Mom and Mikey!

Christmas Day with the Loftus'

We had a super Christmas day with the Loftus family! We ate yummy yummy food made by mostly by Margaret (she is a saint), myself, Mike helped peel the potatoes and Carol made the turkey. We opened up many presents and enjoyed each others company. Did you see our living room floor? I love a house filled with family and craziness!

Our Goddaughter Emma loves to close her eyes when I take a picture of her. Isn't Emma and Erin little darling cuties? On a side note, the girls think I'm having 2 puppies... not 2 babies. Hee-Hee!

Our twin nieces love to take pictures of us taking pictures of them!

Uncle Mike with all the nieces and nephews! Madison is at the top. Michael and Ryan are next to him... and Emma and Erin are sitting on his lap. (He is going to be an awesome dad!)

All Tuckered Out!

Madison, Mike, and Erin were very sleepy after the fun-filled day. Erin even has her new pj's on!

Gift Exchange with the Loftus'

Every year the Loftus adults bring in a nice 25 dollar gift to exchange. We play that we can "steal" each others gifts. After 3 times of stealing, we have to "freeze". This year we kept stealing 3 books of stamps, a 1986 plug-in car rewinder with 25 dollars, a Target gift card, another Target gift card with dryer balls, a KMart card with a X-mas blanket, and a large George Forman. As you can see, my sister-in-law Jen, at one point, had my plug-in car rewinder with 25 bucks. I think she ended up with the George Forman. (We were big time "stealers" this year.) Mike got the Target gift card, and I got a the other Target gift card with the dryer balls. Mike and I love the dryer balls!

Christmas Eve with the Herrley's!

Christmas Eve was filled with Margaret's great cooking and Wii video games. We don't have a Wii, so Nora and Travis brought theirs over. (Thanks guys!) We all played bowling, but my favorite games to watch were baseball and boxing. The men really got into their moves. (They were sweating by the end of the night.) Mike really really looked like he was playing baseball and boxing. Nora and I were cracking up! It was too too funny!

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with the Herrley's minus Tricia, Lee, and Logan. (They couldn't make it because Tricia has those crazy nurse hours.) We missed them, but we know we will see them soon. =)

Friend's Christmas

Here are some great pictures from "Friend's Christmas" 2008! My friend Karen always invites me to a crazy night of outrageously fun gift exchanging! It was a night of hilarious gifts and lots of laughs! This year I received a 1986 plug-in car rewinder along with a body shape video tape... which will come in handy after the babies are born. ;) Mike received a giant wreath made out of tobacco cans. How funny is that? Then all the men had to put on silly reindeer sweaters! It was a hoot! It really was a super night!

Mikey working hard on the basement!

I think Mike is nesting too! He is working hard at many projects in the house! What a honey!

The start to the babies' room!

Mike did a fantastic job at assembling the cribs!

More fun stuff for the babies' room!

The changing table is what we bought with my cousin Matt and Erica's gift card. I know Mike is eager to use this piece of furniture! ;) Tee-Hee!
