We LOVE Snow Days!

Another perk to being a teacher --- Snow Days!!!! Today We played... played... and played!  We felt bad for Da Da because he worked so hard, but we had a blast spending time together!  (We did make Daddy a really nice dinner though...)

I think we played 30 games of Elmo Memory Match!

Elmo Chutes and Ladders is fun too, but takes a little longer...

Mallory and William were telling Daddy through the window that he's too loud!  I'm pretty sure he heard us... right?!

Lovin' My Birthday!

I really had the most super birthday week-end and day ever! ("39 and feeling fine!") I started the b-day week-end by going to Barrett's with the bestest hubby to meet up with the most wonderful friends a girl could ever ask for!  We thought we tucked the twinners into night night... Little did we know that when we left.. Mallory and William talked Mi-Ma into watching one more show and sleeping on the couches downstairs.  When Mike and I returned around 1:00... we couldn't believe our eyes.  I should of taken a picture... it was so dang cute... and because Mi-Ma is Mi-Ma... she got away with it... Hee-Hee!
Then today was filled with smooches... hugs... home-made cards... singing... a new coffee pot... more cards... texts... messages... a great dinner... and so much more!!!!  I feel like the luckiest lady right now! I'm so blessed!  I'm so blessed! I'm so blessed!  Plus... I love hearing stories from my mom about the day I was born... Awwwww! My mom even told me that I was born on a Monday! Story time also includes how she was in labor for 3 days...  Whoops!

The big cookie from Eileen's rules! Yummy!

Holy Big Pinata!

Holy Big Toy Story Pinata!!! Mallory and William are in heaven...  and they can't wait to have their birthday party in March! We really can't thank Mi-Ma enough for getting this big pinata for us... plus she got us another gigantic box of all Toy Story decorations and goodies to pass out to their friends! Mike and I are all smiles too... I'm not gonna lie! It's such cute things that I know will make Mallory and William giddy from head to toe! We even have: Pin the Tale on the Bullseye! Mike and I are so thankful that Mi-Ma has friends that can get her samples and goodies like this.  We are so lucky! THANKS again, Mi-Ma!!!!

Love My Ohio Family!

Even though this visit to Ohio was for my Uncle George's funeral... I had a wonderful time connecting with family while embracing lots of hugs and many smiles... and of course laughter! I missed my Mallory, William, and Mike like crazy, but I know they were in great hands with Mi-Ma and Miss Lori's help.  (It's great to have Skype too!)

My new cousin, Sarah called this picture her "Mafia Father-In-Law".  What did she marry in to?  I couldn't tell her... it's just too tricky and funny.  Now...  Mikey has at least one more person to help him understand the "Zook's"! Tee-Hee-Hee-Hee! I really do LOVE and adore my Zook/Ohio family!

We always enjoy looking at old photos!  Beautiful Aunt Debbie always tells the best stories to go along with them too!  Thanks to her and Uncle Jimmy for hosting the Zook's... we cleaned them out of food and drinks.   It was such a nice and fun evening considering we all just went to a funeral...

The boys were laughing so hard... it was Uncle Mike telling us a "story"...
He always has good ones to share... Tommy was laughing so hard he was in tears!

Most of the fam... :)

Here is one of the old photos that made me giggle.  I love my Dad's red pants...

Matt, Renee, and Scotty.... I think were trying to act "cool"!

Now looking at the photo... it screams to me... a little William.! See picture right after this!

Can't forget to add a picture of Mal Mal!

These two should maybe be a comedy pair one day!  Love my "babies"!

Speaking of cute babies, Debbie and I got to hang out with Baby Allie on my last day.  She finally warmed up to me... I think it's because I had french fries to share. ;) What a dolly!

Finally... Beautiful Aunt Debbie continued spoiling me by taking me to Baskin and Robbins... it has my favorite ice cream there... daiquiri ice! Yummm... the trip was complete! (We don't have a Baskin and Robbins in Omaha!) And... on the flight from Chicago to Omaha, I sat next a former Husker, Kris Kelsay... who now plays for the Bills. We talked kids... I had no idea who he was... Mikey just giggled at me. I should maybe listen to him more when he talks sports! Whoops!
Thanks again to my Ohio family who take such great care of me... Aunt Eva even took me around. We went to Jesse's house... where I met my dad's other cousin... her brother. Jesse and my dad were in the same grade and went to school together.  It really was great to see and talk to everyone! I continue to feel blessed even when things are rough... I have family... that's all I/We need!

You've Got a Friend In Me!

Mallory and William are really each other's best friend! Our twinners are especially so cute and sweet to each other since we've had lots of p.j. days with this sickness!  As you can see...  Buzz and Woody jammies are still their favorite!!! It's too darling for words to see them "play" Toy Story!  I must say, the LOVE we have for our Mallory and William... is just the coolest and most wonderful blessing!!!

Mallory and William quote of the week:  "We've been home for a lot of minutes."

More Sick! :(

We had about 10 -12 more days of being sick again!  Ahhhhhhh! It was so bad for our twinners. Mallory started the barf olympics... William quickly followed 24 hours later. William was actually excited because he then could be in Mommy and Daddy's bedroom. It really was awful.  Mallory couldn't stop vomiting so we had to visit the doctor... she wasn't dehydrated but the doctor did give her some anti-barf medicine.  It did give her relief... thank goodness.  We were feeling so helpless. :(
Just when we think we are out of the woods... the cough entered the olympics.  William had a visit to the ER because I thought it was croup... it wasn't, but they did give him a steroid.  It helped.  Let's everyone pray that we are all healthy and happy. Everywhere...  It's been two long weeks... I know a long winter for many with this crud. :( I did capture a few smiles... :)))

Sesame Street Live!!!

Since Mi-Ma gave us our Sesame Street Live tickets on Christmas... we have been waiting and waiting and waiting!  Well...today finally came and we were bursting at the seems to see all of our friends on Sesame Street! It was in fact a... Sunny Day!!!! Thank you, Mi-Ma for a fabulous family gift that kept our three year olds smiling, giggling and singing! (Mom and Dad too!) In fact, when we left, both Mallory and William asked... "Can we do this again tomorrow?" We just can't enough of these fun-filled days!!!!  We continue to be blessed!!!!!

So first on the list before the actual performance... The Playzone!!!

Our Lil' Grouches...

Mommy, Mallory, and Abby...

Furry, Love-able Grover with my love-able boys...

We met up with our friends, Nicole and Jayen at the Playzone... they are so cute with Big Bird!

We also did a family pose in Big Bird's nest...

Hi Murray!  Nicole and Jayen are off the left side...

Mallory wanted to be real close.  She high-fived Ernie and Cookie... and she waved to Murray!!!  I'm holding William a little further back. It was a little like the Santa moment... which means for William... a love/hate relationship!

Here we are on the steps of  123 Sesame Street...

The shows about to start...

So happy... And glad I found their Elmo spinners from last year and loaded them in our bag.  Elmo lights up and twirls. Which meant they got a balloon this year!

Sesame Street was brought by the letter, "M"... and the Number "5"!

Music... Music... Music...
