From first days of daycare to our last days... there are NO words that can THANK Miss Lori and her INCREDIBLE helpers! It's a FAMILY at Miss Lori's! They've helped this mommy and daddy of twins care and love on our Mallory and William when we were working. We seriously are forever grateful! They are such special people to us... from poopy diapers to wiping boogery noses to potty training to wiping tears... they are angels that always carry a smile with such kind ways! I really couldn't even tell you how much I've been crabby and sad these past few weeks. I hate change... and farewell's. So... It's definitely not good-bye... it's see you later! We at least get to see Miss Lori and pals when a few days overlap with Holy Cross and me going back to work.
This was Mallory and William's first day of daycare... it sure feels like yesterday.
Here are a few pictures from the last weeks! We LOVE you, Miss Lori!
We LOVE Miss Jenny!
We LOVE Miss Kylie!
Mallory and William want Kyler to go to Kindergarten with them... but he's only 3!
Our baseball fans were watching Angels in the Outfield, because it was a rainy last morning. Miss Lori reminded me what a tear-jerker it is!
Miss Lori made Mallory this adorable baseball visor!
Buddies for life!
And... look at just the couple of the many gifts Miss Lori gave to the twins! So super duper sweet!
Got new collage borders on my phone... this was a creation that I made one night at 3 am... not sleeping and feeling anxious about the week.
So if it wasn't bad enough saying, "See you later" to daycare... I had to do it with my 2nd graders and my 6th graders that were moving onto jr. high. Ughhh... so many emotions! I adore this saying below... I said it at my author's party with my parents and kiddos...
The last day of school... we had a scavenger hunt... I was in charge of 8 boys and 2 girls. We ran and raced for almost 2 hours. We didn't win... but we had a blast! Plus I got to be with Tanner... and few former kiddos! What good times!
Selfie with Miss Lori's son... Tanner!
Selfie with Noah... he's going to jr. high. I had 3 out of the 4 Lawrence boys! Gonna miss him!
Got this from a my student this year... I'm the "pest" teacher... I better look at my spelling curriculum over summer again. Made me giggle, though!
Then my "work hubby" and I got a 10 and 15 year gift for teaching. For 15 years of service, I got a calculator and a pen the size of my pinky. Thought it was cute!
Here's to wrapping up another marvelous 2013-2014 school year! Feeling blessed and loved... and so many things!
