Even though this visit to Ohio was for my Uncle George's funeral... I had a wonderful time connecting with family while embracing lots of hugs and many smiles... and of course laughter! I missed my Mallory, William, and Mike like crazy, but I know they were in great hands with Mi-Ma and Miss Lori's help. (It's great to have Skype too!)
My new cousin, Sarah called this picture her "Mafia Father-In-Law". What did she marry in to? I couldn't tell her... it's just too tricky and funny. Now... Mikey has at least one more person to help him understand the "Zook's"! Tee-Hee-Hee-Hee! I really do LOVE and adore my Zook/Ohio family!
We always enjoy looking at old photos! Beautiful Aunt Debbie always tells the best stories to go along with them too! Thanks to her and Uncle Jimmy for hosting the Zook's... we cleaned them out of food and drinks. It was such a nice and fun evening considering we all just went to a funeral...
The boys were laughing so hard... it was Uncle Mike telling us a "story"...
He always has good ones to share... Tommy was laughing so hard he was in tears!
Most of the fam... :)
Here is one of the old photos that made me giggle. I love my Dad's red pants...
Matt, Renee, and Scotty.... I think were trying to act "cool"!
Now looking at the photo... it screams to me... a little William.! See picture right after this!
Can't forget to add a picture of Mal Mal!
These two should maybe be a comedy pair one day! Love my "babies"!
Speaking of cute babies, Debbie and I got to hang out with Baby Allie on my last day. She finally warmed up to me... I think it's because I had french fries to share. ;) What a dolly!
Finally... Beautiful Aunt Debbie continued spoiling me by taking me to Baskin and Robbins... it has my favorite ice cream there... daiquiri ice! Yummm... the trip was complete! (We don't have a Baskin and Robbins in Omaha!) And... on the flight from Chicago to Omaha, I sat next a former Husker, Kris Kelsay... who now plays for the Bills. We talked kids... I had no idea who he was... Mikey just giggled at me. I should maybe listen to him more when he talks sports! Whoops!
Thanks again to my Ohio family who take such great care of me... Aunt Eva even took me around. We went to Jesse's house... where I met my dad's other cousin... her brother. Jesse and my dad were in the same grade and went to school together. It really was great to see and talk to everyone! I continue to feel blessed even when things are rough... I have family... that's all I/We need!
