Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July!!! It is hard to believe that this is the third 4th of July for Mallory and William... where is the time going? Well... it was another FANTASTIC holiday with family and friends! The day started out by our twins making fireworks paintings with scouring pads and red and blue finger paints. They loved painting so much, that I had to quick come up with a new distraction... so I told them, we were going to "cook". We made a simple 4th of July salad out of yogurt, blueberries, and raspberries. Mallory and William love to stir and dump ingredients into their very own bowl... one by one! :0)

Since Mallory and William wouldn't wear the goofy star glasses, Kelly (my forever awesome friend) came through for me... and Andrew and Thomas also posed with us and their cutie smiles. But as I told Andrew... his star guitar glasses are way cooler!

We really enjoyed having the Connelly's, Herrley's, Carroll's, and Lawler's over... of course, Mi-Ma was there...and my dear friend, Glen, who just lost his wife came over for a visit too! (Glen and Dorothy are my mom's age... but Dorothy will forever remind me of Grandma Herrley.) It really was a special day, because Katie, John, and the kids were leaving to go back to Chicago, and they still made it for our BBQ and 4th of July fun! It was adorable when Katie said to me... I love that you have 2 of everything... you see, Katie and John have twin 18 month olds. :) :)

Eileen... they call her "Queeny". She is the only girl with 3 older brothers. Gotta love it!

Emmett... he reminds me of the Connelly side! What a honey!
