Christmas Eve with the Herrley's!

Merry Christmas Eve! We first went to the Children's Mass at 4:00 with Mi-Ma. Then most of the Herrley's came over for food and fun.  Tricia had to work... we missed her and her fam, but we sure had a nice and wonderful time!  We loved watching the kids look for Santa out of the window and on the Santa Tracker!!!

Daddy loves to wrestle with William, Mallory, and Oliver!  Oliver was giving Mike a good smack down.  Pretty bummed... I took more pics of Matt, Nora, and Travis, but because I didn't wipe off my lens... it was blurry.  Boooo... We sure LOVE our Herrley family!  They are so special to us!

William took a cat nap, so as you can see Mallory is not in the next few pictures, because she was fast asleep in my arms. So... William and Oliver kept checking my phone for Santa... it was so cute!

Some time after midnight Santa came!!!  Yes... the twins got the jerseys they wanted from the Royals, Escobar for Mallory, and Perez for William... a baseball card binder... 2 remote control cars... a KC backpack holder thing... and a couple of pennants, and KC loveys.

Good-Bye Buddy!

Mallory and William LOVE when Buddy is here... and pretty darn sad when he leaves.  He even left a pretty sweet gift for the twins... sleeping bags! I love this magical time of year... and how sweet it is to see the twins faces when Buddy moves from place to place each night.  They told me the other night that they feel bad that I didn't have an elf when I was growing up.

Buddy left a note and some chocolates...

Zoo Day in December!

 Some of our favorite moments and pictures came from today's zoo day!  This sea turtle was amazing! Like, truly super cool!

The zoo got a bunch of new baby animals this past week. One was the baby giraffe...

Three new baby lion cubs.  One white... and the other two brown.  I love this picture of the white one! William asked why this cub has white hair and the other brown?  I said... it's kinda how you have red hair, and the rest of your family has brown hair!  He then said... let's name the white tiger cub, William!  I agree... 100 percent!

There is a new baby orangutan, too... the baby is hiding on the mom's shoulder.  It was so dang cute! Wish I could of snapped a better picture.

What a fun, fun, fun day at the zoo with my blessings!

Light Looking Time!

We went light looking tonight... and it was both beautiful and super fun! We love to see their faces while looking at all the pretty lights! We revisited some over favorite house and took a peek at a few new!  What a terrific family day and night together!

Gingerbread House Making Time!

Thanks, Gma Sue for the gingerbread house!  We love making gingerbread houses! Gma Sue is always so sweet to us! Tis' the season to all the fun traditions we get to make with our family! We just love their creation!
