Fallin' Into Fun!

Mi-Ma is always fun because she spoils the twins with lots of hugs, kisses, and goodies! Thank you Mi-Ma for the costumes!

Mallory and William LOVE to make booklets and read them to us!

William always says... I have an announcement!

I had a little scare at the mammogram place this week... I had something show up not normal.  I went Monday... got the call Tuesday... and they wanted me to come back on Thursday. I had to visit the Restobrook Cancer Center to have the doctors further investigate... good news... all is well.  I have about 9 cysts, but that is okay. As long as it's not cancer. We are so thankful! They said I'll probably have to go back every year, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.  The below picture is Mike and I out to lunch... with an adult beverage... doing a mini celebration!

The twins are doing so well in school... we are sooooo proud!

It's Epilepsy Awareness Month.... I wore my shirt for Jayen and my cousin, Melisa to school to show my support! We always continue to pray daily for a cure!

Here is my mentee, Morgan and I below.  The twins, Morgan and I went to Chinese for dinner... then, I took Morgan to see A Wrinkle in Time at The Rose Theater... it's definitely a 5th grade and older kinda play.  A little too deep in thinking for too young of minds. (And a little scary!)  Glad I took Morgan and not the twins!  Whew!

Mallory and William had a day off at Holy Cross, so they got to go to Miss Lori's!  They had a BLAST in the leaf piles!

Dan then hosted his 16th Dysfunctional Thanksgiving! I've been to every one... I think that might make me the most dysfunctional!  It's a great tradition with GREAT friends!  Here are my Golden Girls below!

Dan and Aaron did such a super job hosting a beautiful night!

Then... Mallory and I had date day! I took her to see Mi-Ma... we went out to lunch at Goldberg's.  So, Mallory and I went for a hike at Fontenelle Forest! We had a terrific day!

William and Daddy went to Village Inn then to the Wildlife Safari Park! The boys had a super time!

I can't wait for William and I to have our date day with me next week... and Mallory is really excited to get a day with her Daddy!  Thank you God for the wonderful and grateful days we get as a family... I'm so grateful and thank my lucky stars that I get to be a mom, wife, daughter, friend, mentor, and teacher!

Movie and Park Sunday Fun!

What a beautiful fall day!  We decided to see the movie, Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day... and hit the park!  The movie was adorable!!!!! It was such a feel good family movie!  A definite 2 thumbs up! And the park was wonderful!!!!!

Happy 5th Birthday, Jayen!

Sometimes when I blog, my goofy words just roll off my tongue and onto the keypad. I know I usually have typos, and maybe I only make sense to me...  but, last night, as I reflected on the 2nd half to our Saturday, I found myself crying lots and lots... maybe so much that no words came out.  When you find friends, like the Hochstein's... it's hard to put into words how grateful you are for such a blessed friendship.  We found out at the party, that their house sold.  They are off on their new adventure to Phoenix for Matt's job in the Air Force.  They will be on their way in January.  Right now, Matt is training in Florida, and he got to come home for a surprise visit for less than 48 hours for Jayen's birthday.  I can't believe one of my/our best friends will be leaving soon.  I know to be grateful and look to the positive, I just like them near, selfishly. When I think of all the times we've had with the Hochstein's, I just smile at the heavens and thank God and my Dad for placing them in our paths! On this day... we did have soooo much fun, it's just hard to think about all the changes.

Grant was telling Jayen what frosting letter to eat and Jayen would do it... the children then began to cheer!

I started the crack the egg game... The kids laughed and laughed when I was the egg and they tried to crack me. I then made sure to have Mike be the egg, too!

I LOVE YOU, NICOLE!!!! You and your family have and will always be a huge gift to the Loftus family!  LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!  Thank you for another memorable afternoon!

Costume Dance Day!

Our baseball players got to wear their costumes to dance today!  How cute is the baseball ballerina! William didn't want to participate... at all.  We tried to get him to join for just one dance, but he wasn't having it.  It's funny because he helps Mallory sing all the songs when we are home! It was a cute morning of Miss Lisa fun!  (I even got to dance, too!)

Are the boys planning recital?!! LOL!

Yep... that's my daughter!

Oh my... she has my pose!  We are in trouble, folks!

We love you, Miss Lisa!  Thanks for a great dance day!

Watching the girls!  Awwwww!
