4th of July 2010!

We had a WONDERFUL 4th of July!!!!!
We hosted at our house this year.
As you can see... Grandma Sue, Grandma Tony, &
Grandma Margaret was there.
We also had my cousins, Matt and Steve
hang out with us for the day!
It was a super terrific day with family!

Did I mention that Gma Sue makes the BEST home-made
ice cream?! It's a tradition that has been around during the
4th of July since I can remember. Now we just need the babies to
be a bit older for a wild game of wiffleball! Thanks to Gma Margaret
for helping me get everything all ready while Mikey was grilling
the most delicious burgers and dogs around!

Emily and Brandon's Wedding!

Above was "us" getting ready for my dance friend,
Emily's wedding. It was a gorgeous wedding!
It took place this past Saturday, July 3rd.
We took the babies' to the actual wedding
where we spent the whole time in the "cry room".
Sadly enough, below is the best picture I took
through the glass. It makes me laugh a little...
this is one of the perks of parenthood... the "cry room".

As you might recognize, Emily and Brandon got married at Holy
Cross. (This is the same exact place we go to church and got
married!) So the babies think this is their stompin' grounds.
We bring everything we can think of to distract them, but they
are in the running stage of their lives. It's awesome!

Mallory and William LOVE LOVE LOVE
giving Da Da kisses!

It was super clever, on the tables were a book of matches
with the saying - "A perfect match". Attached
were 2 sparklers at each setting. Later after dancing,
some of us went outside to light our sparklers.
What a great night! I wish I had more pictures...
I think I was just super excited with a night amongst adults..
Tee-Hee! Tee-Hee! Tee-Hee!

We Love the Zoo!

We went to our favorite outdoor spot again...
The Henry Doorly Zoo! But today we spent a good portion
of our time in the birdie exhibit. My friends Nicole and Nikki
helped me wrangle the babes. Nicole and Nikki rock!
Mallory and William love the birdies! Mallory didn't at first,
but she got use to them. William immediately wanted to explore!
(Thanks Nicole for talking us into going the birdie exhibit!
Well worth every minute!)

Below is Nikki helping Mallory out! I have
the bestest of friends!

Below is Nicole, her son Dalan, and William.
They were checkin out the dirt and birdies!
(I'm so mad... Jayen and Brecon was there too and I didn't
get a good picture of them. At least I know we will be back...)

What a sweet picture of Nicole and William!

This is Nikki's daughter, Teagan, with a pretty bird!

My "little monkeys" are so stinkin' cute!

And we couldn't not not go to the zoo without seeing the
monkeys, the 3-legged tiger, and the bears.

15 Month Check-Up!

I had to add this sweetie-pie picture of Gma Margaret
and the babies... she bought them matching Elmo outfits!
The babies absolutely LOVE Elmo... Mallory now kisses him
in the morning and at night. And William hands me the remote
to watch Elmo on TV... it's super funny!

Mallory:
Height - 31.25 inches = 71st percentile
Weight - 23 lbs 12 oz = 62nd percentile
Head Circumference - 47.5 cm = 87th percentile

William:
Height - 31.25 inches = 50th percentile
Weight - 20 lbs 13 oz = 5th percentile (lil' peanut)
Head Circumference - 47. 8 = 66th percentile

Mallory's Kindermusik Video!

Mallory and I had a BLAST with the shakers at Kindermusik! Mallory loves to dance, sing and explore! William had a low-grade fever and was napping when we left for our Kindermusik morning, so the poor guy stayed home with Grandma Carol. I felt terrible, but I knew he needed to sleep. Both babies had just gotten their 15 month shots the day before. Mallory just seemed to bounce back faster. She was up and ready to party!

William's Zoo Video!

Wiiliam loved the birdie exhibit at the zoo... Mallory was right by my side. She wasn't sure of the birdies until we were ready to leave. Then she didn't want leave once it was time to go. Isn't that it usually works. ;) I think William was gonna try and catch one... he kept saying "Bawk. Bawk."

3 Spoons!

Now when we eat yogurt or such, we need 3 spoons!
One for Mallory.... One for William... and one for Mommy or DaDa!
We need one for us so that food actually gets in their mouths.
Each day gets better. Mallory and William really really
want to feed themselves. It's hard if we are in a rush...
but really it's funny! We just laugh!
We love watching them learn!
